At Cattleman’s Cut, food safety and quality are our top priority and we take our customers’ confidence in our products and brands very seriously.

Cattleman’s Cut has discovered that an isolated incident in our production facility led to a limited amount of Cattleman’s Cut Old Fashioned Smoked Sausage product (309 pounds) having mislabeled soy allergen information (This product contain soy, which is not declared on the product label). The mislabeling occurred during a window of less than one hour and at this time, there have been no reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of these products.

Cattleman’s Cut has chosen to implement a voluntary recall of the impacted product. We are partnering with the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service and have informed our retail customers of the recall.

We are working to remove any remaining product from store shelves that has a best-by date 21MAR 2021 22. Consumers who may have the recalled product should discard it or return it to their place of purchase.
